Jenny Harwood,

Manager of Pet Services

Jenny is a Stanly County native who grew up in a household of animal lovers. She has always had pets and was taught at a very young age to show compassion to all walks of life. In 2011, Jenny adopted a puppy from the Stanly County Humane Society and began volunteering and fostering for the organization. Jenny has learned so much about animals from her time there. Witnessing these animals progress from the sadness & fear they feel when they first arrive, to the happiness on their faces when they are adopted is wonderful. Their personalities shine through once they start trusting again. The passion Jenny has for animals’ welfare led her to this job. She has worked for Hartsell Funeral Home since 2005 and became a full-time employee of Hartsell Pet Services in 2018. With the empathy Jenny has for someone who loses a pet, she wants you to please take comfort in knowing she will treat your pet with the same love and compassion that she shows her own.
